Strip Out and Full Refit of Retail Space: Spacebuild commenced the project by stripping out the existing retail space within the Grand Arcade Shopping Centre. This initial phase involved the careful removal of old fixtures, fittings, and finishes to prepare the area for a comprehensive refit. The team ensured that the strip-out process was conducted efficiently and with minimal disruption to the surrounding businesses.

New HVAC, Electrical, and Lighting Schemes: Following the strip-out, Spacebuild implemented new HVAC, electrical, and lighting schemes. The electrical system was upgraded to support the latest technology and enhance energy efficiency. Additionally, a new lighting scheme was installed, featuring a mix of ambient, task, and accent lighting to create a welcoming and visually appealing atmosphere.

New Ceramic Floor Installation: To enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of the retail space, Spacebuild installed new ceramic flooring. The choice of ceramic tiles offered durability and ease of maintenance, making it ideal for a high-traffic retail environment. The installation was carried out with precision, ensuring a smooth and seamless finish that complemented the overall design.

Installation of Client’s Fixtures: The final phase of the project involved the installation of Sunglass Hut’s fixtures. Spacebuild worked closely with the clients Millwork contractor to ensure that all fixtures were installed according to their specifications and brand standards. This included display units, shelving, and other custom elements designed to showcase the products effectively and enhance the shopping experience.
