When Astrid & Miyu embarked on transforming a shell space within a Grosvenor property, we collaborated closely with their in-house design team and an external project manager. Their mission: to create a captivating retail environment that seamlessly blended contemporary jewellery and tattoo services.

Astrid & Miyu is a contemporary jewellery brand and tattoo studio that has made waves in the fashion world. With stores throughout London and concession spaces in Selfridges, they offer a unique blend of jewellery and body art.

Timeless Beauty, Crafted for You

Starting from scratch, the team carved out new studio areas at the rear of the retail space. These studios would serve as the canvas for both jewellery consultations and tattoo sessions. The layout was meticulously planned to ensure functionality, privacy, and an inviting atmosphere for clients.

To set the stage for Astrid & Miyu’s unique offerings, a luxury vinyl tile (LVT) floor was installed. LVT provides durability, easy maintenance, and a sleek appearance. The choice of flooring material was crucial, as it needed to withstand heavy foot traffic while complementing the brand’s aesthetic.

Astrid & Miyu’s jewellery pieces deserved a showcase that was both functional and visually appealing. The client design team took charge of creating and developing fixtures that would elegantly display necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets. 

Perimeter fixtures lined the walls, providing ample space for displaying jewellery collections. Freestanding fixtures were strategically placed throughout the store, allowing customers to explore the pieces up close.

The completed fit-out transformed the shell space into a captivating haven for jewellery enthusiasts and tattoo aficionados alike. Astrid & Miyu successfully merged their contemporary brand identity with a thoughtfully designed retail space, inviting customers to explore and express their individuality.
